7 Baby Registry Items I Wish I Had

Experiencing baby registry FOMO with all those gifts you wish you added? Allie breaks it down with 7 of the best baby products that make momming a whole lot easier!

I was completely overwhelmed making my baby registry for Molly.

There were so many “must-have” items, so many brands, price ranges, and reviews on top of reviews, my hormonal self was on the verge of tears every time I attempted to make a registry.

I decided to go on Facebook and ask my parent friends what they recommended and wound up getting over 130 comments. Holy sh**!

I literally went comment by comment and just added each product to my Target registry, and within an hour, I was DONE. Phew!

Alas, the fast/easy way is not always the best way...

I was so confident in my registry and my well-stocked nursery, but shortly after M came along, I realized there were a few items I wish I registered for, and that list continues to grow as she gets older. Hindsight is 20/20, right?

If you’re stuck on your baby registry, or if you’re looking for an awesome (and useful!) holiday gift for any parents or parents-to-be, I have listed and linked the 7 baby items I wish I registered for below:

(Please note: This article includes affiliate links, which means we do get a small commission on each purchase, at no additional cost to you! This post is not sponsored, however, and are all items I genuinely LOVE!)

Summer Infant Secure Booster Seat

I’m STILL kicking myself for not getting this! We already have a high chair and a Bumbo, but this portable booster seat I saw at one of my mom friends’ house rivals them all. It secures to just about any table anywhere, and for around $30, it’s AMAZING.

Munchkin Formula Dispenser

I stopped breastfeeding M around 7.5 months (Read my breastfeeding journey here!), so even though we only had her on formula for a few months, this awesome, inexpensive product would have been a lifesaver! No more plastic bags of formula spilling everywhere in the diaper bag…

JJ Cole Outdoor Blanket

Confession time: I got this as a baby shower gift (not on my registry), and I actually considered returning it… Needless to say, I’m SO glad I didn’t, because I’ve gotten so much use out of this outdoor blanket, especially when M was little. It’s easy to wipe clean and folds up into a bag!

Happy Healthy Parent Silicone Bowl and Plate

I discovered these WAY too late, but better late than never, right?! With these silicone plates, M can make a mess when she eats and it’s no biggie with these easy-to-clean and store plates, and they save me from cleaning her high chair tray ALL. THE. TIME.

Sorbus Toy Chest with Flip Flop Lid

It’s no secret you’re going to be gifted a billion toys when you have a kid, but rarely does anyone give you a place to put them all. My mom got me this lightweight, velcro toy chest, and it is the one thing keeping some semblance of order/cleanliness in my living room.

Innovation Tree Kick Mats Back Seat Protector

We don’t need this product quite yet since M is still rear-facing in her carseat, but you better believe we will be getting these for when she transitions to forward-facing! The last thing we need are footprints on the seat backs, and with an iPad holder for long drives, these are a must!

The Original Mommy Hook

Sheer genius. And yet, another amazing item I’m just now discovering… This oversized stroller hook can keep your purse and other bags secured when the underside of the stroller gets full with, well, everything else. For only $8, may as well get two!

I hope this has been helpful for any preggo mamas and dads stressing over their registries!

If you’re a parenting pro reading this, comment your registry must-haves below! Any product that makes our days a little less chaotic is worth EVERY penny.
